Zoofari Mailer

I was tasked with creating a custom invitation for a company, organization, or event of my choice. I chose Zoofari, which is an event put on by the Columbus Zoo that supports the zoo’s education programs. I ultimately wanted to create a “pop-up” mailer that could fit into an envelope and be mailed while maintaining guidelines and brand recognition.

I really wanted to push myself a bit and try something new for the invitation that would be eye-catching and exciting. Something that a recipient would want to hold onto. I created a layered pop-up mailer with the event theme in mind. I put a seal on top of a wine glass with a speckled background in order to match the event identity. I represented a habitat that the animals would be in with Columbus's infrastructure in the very back. I think that it represented the event and location very well and would excite people who would go to the event.
