Gospel Heights Church
I had the privilege to create the logo/branding for Gospel Heights Church in Huber Heights, OH—a church plant branching from University Baptist Church in Beavercreek OH.
The Gospel Heights Church logo was created to visually reflect the heart, mission, and theological foundation of the church. Rooted in the name itself, the design communicates two central ideas: the Gospel as the unwavering foundation of our faith, and Heights as a symbol of spiritual growth and community outreach.
At the base of the icon, an open book represents the Gospel—God’s Word—on which the church is built. This visual anchors the design, emphasizing the centrality of Scripture in both knowing God and making Him known. Rising from the open book are upward-facing peaks, symbolizing growth, elevation, and the church’s desire to reach the people of Huber Heights. This imagery communicates the ongoing spiritual formation of believers and the outward multiplication of God’s kingdom.
The line-art style of the icon was intentionally crafted to align with the minimalist aesthetic of UBC’s existing branding, creating a sense of visual unity while maintaining a distinct identity. The design uses UBC’s current fonts and color palette, including calming yet bold shades of blue and light blue. These colors evoke peace, confidence, and spiritual clarity—values that resonate with the vision of Gospel Heights.
This branding captures the essence of Gospel Heights Church: grounded in the Gospel, growing in Christ, and reaching outward with intentionality and purpose.
